It is a complete hosting and service offer with tools for hosting (Paas), data storage (Windows Azure SQL database), a FaaS system (Functions as a service), but also SaaS and the Iaas (Infrastructure as a Service) network layer. You can manage authentication with Azure AD (Active Directory). There are also more specialized services such as Azure AI, Azure ML or Azure Blockchain Workbench.
